Tying Video – Don’s Delight

As mentioned in the previous post, I have a tying class at FlyMasters on the 9th of November.  Since we are still in streamer season I decided to do a class on Carrie Stevens streamers.  Last week I did a video on Allie’s Favorite which is one of the flies I will be teaching in the class and this week it is Don’s Delight.  This is a very basic Carrie Stevens streamer that has all of the various components that are well known in her flies.  However, there is nothing fancy to this fly and all of the materials are inexpensive and easy to acquire.

I have one more fly that I will be teaching in the class and it is the Wizard.  There will be a video posted in a week on this fly.  However, the Carrie Stevens streamer fest will continue.  I have about five more patterns that I will be creating videos for but they will not be in the class.

If you are interested in the tying class contact FlyMasters of Indianapolis at 317-570-9811 and reserve a spot.  Class starts at 1:00pm on November 9th.   The class costs $35.00 and all materials are provided.  There will be another post here on Dressed Irons in a few days that will go into more detail as to the tools and equipment you will need to provide.

If you haven’t yet, sign up for the weekly newsletter to stay up to date on Dressed Irons as well as receiving more details about this upcoming class.  The sign up form is on the right of this page!

As always, if you have any questions about this fly (or any other) you can leave a comment on Dressed Irons or any of the videos I have produced and I will help in anyway I can. Enjoy!
